Capacitive Interactive Whiteboard

This type of interactive whiteboard works through an array of wires which interact when fingers touches the screen. These wires are laminated in X-axis and y-axis manner. Through X,Y coordinate position, the whiteboard can determine the position of a finger tip. Since the whiteboard is capacitive, it stores energy between plates i.e. it charges through conductors.




Since finger tip is used to touch the screen, therfore no pen is required. It is difficult to vandalise such type of interactive whiteboard as all the electronics equipments are behind the screen.One should not use permanent markers on such types of whiteboards.
